COVID-19 – Update

PKS CPA

Dear clients and friends,

In the coming weeks and months, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has the potential to adversely impact businesses. With that in mind, I would like to inform you about PKS’s response to this unprecedented public health crisis.

As always, our number one priority is the health and safety of our people and our families, our clients, and our communities.  We’re closely monitoring the evolving situation and relying on information from health care experts with respect to smart hygiene actions, and travel and meeting guidance.

And while we focus on our collective safety, we are committed to maintaining our quality of client service during this uncertain time.  As the global COVID-19 outbreak causes major disruption and stress across global markets, economies and businesses, you can count on us to maintain the level of service you expect and deserve.

PKS has a business continuity plan in place which allows our firm to lessen disruptions to normal operations and minimize impact on our team members, clients, and service providers.  We have a strong remote work infrastructure which can be utilized if necessary to maintain business operations. This infrastructure includes technical solutions for all team members to communicate and collaborate securely with one another that will enable smooth reintegration into our offices.

We are asking our clients to submit any document to us through our secure file transfer systems located on our website (www.pkscpa.com).  In addition, we are emphasizing the benefits of receiving electronic versions of our work for your convenience in lieu of traditional hard copies.

While these are unprecedented times, PKS is committed to helping you succeed with confidence. We are all taking the necessary actions to address this challenge, and taking necessary precautions to protect ourselves, and the places where we live and work. We will continue to provide insights to keep you and your business informed as more information becomes available.

I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and want you to know PKS is here for you.

In good health,

Daniel M. O’Connell II, CPA/PFS, CVA
