On Thursday, July 14th PKS & Company hosted another successful event in their Women’s Networking and Business Series, BE CONNECTED. The event’s topic, How to Survive Your Desk Job: Nutrition for Your Body & Mind, drew a crowd of nearly 90 women. The panel of speakers included: Veronica Correa, LCSW-C, Owner and Clinical Director at The Personal Wellness Center; Lynn Matava, The Country Tart, is a health and wellness motivator, real food educator, writer and presenter; and Courtney Moore, Co-Owner, Trainer and General Manager at Olympia Fitness Clubs. While each speaker’s presentation was different, the overall message was clear – it is possible to be both the busiest and healthiest version of yourself by making small changes to your everyday routine.
The next event in the BE CONNECTED series is a workshop: The Care and Feeding of Your Personal Brand held on September 8th at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. This thought provoking workshop will be led by marketing innovators Robbie Tarpley Raffish, Founder and President of a.s.a.p.r. integrated marketing and Paula T. Morris, CEO of PTM / Marketing Professor, to gain useful insights and tips on the steps you can take to build, manage, project and protect your brand! There is no fee to attend; however, advanced registration is required.
