PKS & Company, P.A. is pleased to announce that Brian T. Ford, CPA, has successfully earned the Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation.

The CCIFP credential is awarded by the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and is widely recognized as the premier certification for financial professionals serving the construction industry. The designation demonstrates a high level of competence in construction financial management, including areas such as accounting and reporting, job costing, revenue recognition, risk management, and tax planning specific to construction operations.

To earn the CCIFP designation, candidates must meet rigorous eligibility requirements and successfully pass a comprehensive examination covering the unique financial challenges facing construction companies. Individuals who hold the CCIFP credential are recognized for their specialized knowledge, technical expertise, and commitment to maintaining high ethical standards within the industry.

As a Partner with PKS & Company, P.A., Brian brings extensive experience in audit and taxation services for construction and manufacturing organizations, as well as common interest realty associations, nonprofit organizations, and closely held businesses. He also provides income tax planning strategies for individuals and business owners, helping clients navigate complex financial matters with clarity and confidence.

Brian joined the firm in 2016 and is based in PKS’s Ocean City office. He is a graduate of Salisbury University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, golfing, fishing, and being outdoors. He resides in Berlin with his wife, Logan, and their sons, Gavin and Hudson.
