James D. Maybury, CPA, Receives Promotion

PKS & Company, P.A., Certified Public Accountants and Advisors to Business is pleased to announce the promotion of James D. Maybury, CPA to the level of Manager.

This position requires that the employee demonstrate the ability to oversee accounting projects, supervise other staff and develop new client relationships.  Additionally, the employee must have thorough training and experience, and become expert at some specialized area of accounting.  In his 9th year with PKS, James supervises and performs audits of small to medium size businesses, governments and not-for-profit entities.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.

A graduate of Salisbury University, James has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Personal Financial Planning.  He is active in the community, currently serving as the treasurer of the Salisbury Zoo Commission.  James lives in Salisbury with his wife Brittany and two daughters.
